Ron and Bonnie Hiller are the founders of Puppets and Praise Ministries, Inc. For the past 40 years they have traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada and overseas, ministering in over 34 different denominational and independent groups.

The vision of the ministry is to bring life and hope through Jesus Christ to children and families, helping them to walk in righteousness. Over 500 people have accepted Christ as their Savior or rededicated their lives to Him during this past year, and many thousands over the years of ministry. Parents and leadership are also encouraged to see the Biblical perspective of training and equipping the children, and are encouraged in their own spiritual growth.

During eight trips to Great Britain (since 1995), and the Republic of Ireland, the Hillers ministered in many depressed areas (spiritually and economically). They were invited to bring Jesus into over 250 public elementary and high schools, and taught many workshops to adults, sharing vision for ministry to children.

On their two trips to the Philippines, their main focus was to equip national leaders with the skills to minister to children. In the process the Hillers ministered to thousands of children. At one school alone, 3600 children heard the message of the Good News of Jesus.

During their two trips to Israel, the Hillers had the opportunity not only to minister to children of 10 other countries, but to minister to a Bible Study group for completed Jews.

The Hillers’ “hands-on” puppet workshop includes instruction in puppetry: manipulation, voicing, script writing and staging. A variety of puppets are demonstrated. This workshop will appeal to elementary age children through adult.

Puppets and Praise Ministries is not supported financially by any one denomination or church, but depends on the free will gifts of churches where they minister and by individuals who wish to support this ministry.

Both Ron and Bonnie are ordained through the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. They have two married children (both involved in children’s ministry) and six grandchildren.
